Suspected gunmen kill chairman of MMIA taxi park man and his two children in Ikorodu Lagos Nigeria

Suspected gunmen on Thursday, allegedly killed the chairman of Muritala Mohammed International Airport taxi park, Mr Kennedy Uzor and two of his children, at Adegbose Estate Phase 2, in Igbogbo area of Ikorodu, Lagos, Channels TV reports.


According to some of the residents, the assailants scaled the fence of the victims’ residence located at and forced their way into their room. Body of the deceased persons have been deposited in a mortuary in Ikorodu.

The Commissioner of Police in Lagos, Fatai Owoseni, who confirmed the tragic incident gave Channels Television a hint of the efforts that are ongoing to find the killers.

"Attackers had gone into the house and killed the head of the family and from preliminary investigations, there were signs of some struggles. We found out that same assassins also killed two of the kids," Owoseni said.
The Commissioner said investigation has begun and that those behind the gruesome murder would be brought to book.
"We are just picking bits and pieces of information. A crime scene vehicle is being sent to the area to see how much of information, exhibits and things, bits and pieces, that can be recovered from that scene that will aid our investigation. Everything that we need to do will be done swiftly and we will follow all the lead that we can get to make sure that whoever carried out or sponsored that act do not go unpunished," he added.
