Photos: 10 bodies of African migrants found in rubber boat off Libyan coast

Ten bodies were recovered on Saturday, November 5th, from a rubber dinghy off the Libyan coast while several hundred others were rescued.

16 rescue operations were conducted on Saturday by Maltese. NGO MOAS and the Italian Red Cross, saw over 700 people, including children, being rescued. The migrants shrouded in foil survival blankets crowded onto the deck of Topaz Responder, a search and rescue ship chattered by MOAS.

"Everyone on our deck is doing well thanks to the care provided by the #RedCross team. It's been a tough day for everyone involved, but we're incredibly proud of the outstanding teamwork shown, the direct result of which has given countless people a second chance at life today" MOAS posted on its Facebook page.
